This exciting opportunity has been created as part of the Skilling SA Public Sector Project by the Government of South Australia in partnership with Statewide Group Training (SA) Inc.
The successful candidate will be directly engaged by the The Department of the Premier and Cabinet (DPC) via Pathway 1 of the Skilling SA Public Sector Project initiative.
Undertaking a Certificate IV in Project Management you will be engaged for a 12-month period in the role of HR Graduate Officer as you complete your studies.
About the Role
As a valued member of the team you will be accountable for the provision of accurate and timely support across a range of human resource matters within the Department and will assist with various human resources related projects.
As part of the HR Support team the HR Graduate Officer will assist with the administration of enquiries related to policies, procedures and guidelines and will be required to provide professional and timely response to internal and external parties on related matters.
In this role you will undertake specific tasks relating to data collection and analysis and will directly contribute to the implementation of process and systems ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of human resources related services within the DPC.
The HR Graduate Officer will ensure a high standard of administrative and project support function within the DPC and in this role you will strive to achieve the highest standards of customer service to the relative clients and stakeholders.

The person we are seeking will be able to demonstrate the following skill set and hold Tertiary Qualification in Human Resource Management, organisational Psychology or equivalent:
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously, use sound judgement, set priorities, and achieve objectives.
- Ability to develop and maintain sound working relationships with all stakeholders
- Ability to organise, plan, and prioritise workflow to meet deadlines
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office products and programs
- Sound knowledge of Administrative procedures, policies, and systems
- Demonstrated experience in collating and analysis of information and data to identify trends and evaluate activities and their effectiveness.
