Introduction to Apprenticeships
Statewide Group Training employs Apprentices and Trainees (Australian Apprentices) and leases them to businesses who are called Host Employers. Whilst you are working as an Australian Apprentice for your Host Employer, you remain an employee of Statewide Group Training. As a Statewide Australian Apprentice you will get support and training by industry professionals which will give you the foundation to achieve your career goals.

Tools For Your Trade
Some vocations are eligible for the Australian Government "Tools For The Trade" payments to assist with the purchase of a basic tool kit and other costs associated with employment and training costs. These payments are tax exempt.
Tools should only be purchased after consultation with the workplace supervisor.
Workplace Safety and Personal Protective Equipment
Statewide has a total commitment to workplace safety and has achieved WorkCover accreditation to the highest level in South Australia.
Statewide provides a range of personal protective equipment (PPE) to all eligible Australian Apprentices. Items could include work shirts, trousers, overalls, safety boots or shoes, safety glasses, earmuffs, ear plugs, gloves, sun hats, sun screen etc.
Additional safety equipment may be provided if it is a requirement of the job.
